ABOUT ME
Dr. Dabiao Liu is a lecturer of Department of Mechanics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China. He is also a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow at School of Physics and Astronomy, Queen Mary University of London (2016.8-2018.1). Dr. Liu received his Ph.D. from HUST with Prof. Yuming He in 2014. He then worked as a lecturer of solid mechanics at HUST until now. In 2016, he came to QMUL as Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow. Currently his research interests focus on mechanical behaviour of small-scale structures, fibres/silks, nonclassical continuum mechanics, and size-dependent plasticity, etc. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers on these topics. Many of these works appeared in journals with good impacts.
